Sweepstakes Rules

These Sweepstakes Rules ("Rules") govern your participation in any sweepstakes promotions offered on the Modo Casino platform (us-modocasino.com). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Rules, as well as our overall Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Sponsor

The sweepstakes promotions ("Sweepstakes") are sponsored and operated by Modo Casino Affiliate ("Sponsor", "we", "our", or "us").

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is strictly open only to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is higher) at the time of entry.

VOID JURISDICTIONS: The Sweepstakes is void in the states of Washington, Michigan, Idaho, and Nevada. It is also void in any jurisdiction outside of the United States and where prohibited by law. Employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) are not eligible to participate.

3. Sweepstakes Coins (SC) vs. Gold Coins (GC)

To understand our sweepstakes mechanics, it is crucial to distinguish between our two virtual currencies:

• Gold Coins (GC): A virtual social currency used solely for playing games for entertainment. Gold Coins have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes. They can be purchased or obtained for free.
• Sweepstakes Coins (SC): Virtual tokens that can be used to play games for a chance to win additional Sweepstakes Coins. Winning Sweepstakes Coins can be redeemed for real cash prizes or gift cards, subject to these Rules. Sweepstakes Coins can never be purchased. They are only awarded for free through Alternative Methods of Entry (AMOE).

4. How to Obtain Free Sweepstakes Coins

Because no purchase is necessary, players can obtain Sweepstakes Coins for free through the following Alternative Methods of Entry (AMOE):

A. Complimentary Bonus with Gold Coin Purchases

While Sweepstakes Coins cannot be purchased, the Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, bundle complimentary Sweepstakes Coins as a free bonus alongside the purchase of specific Gold Coin packages. The amount of free Sweepstakes Coins awarded will be clearly displayed prior to completing the purchase.

B. Daily Login Bonus

Players can receive free Sweepstakes Coins simply by logging into their verified Modo Casino account. A specific amount of free SC is available to be claimed once every twenty-four (24) hours. To claim this bonus, navigate to the "Promotions" tab and click "Claim Daily Bonus."

C. Mail-In Request (Postal Request)

You can receive free Sweepstakes Coins by sending a standard, handwritten postal request to the Sponsor. To qualify for a mail-in bonus (typically 5.00 SC per valid request), you must follow these exact instructions:

• Obtain a blank, unlined, 4" x 6" postcard.
• Using a blue or black ink pen, legibly handwrite your: Full Name, Return Address, Email Address registered to your Modo Casino account, and the unique Postal Request Code (generated from your account dashboard).
• Write the following statement exactly as it appears: "I wish to receive Sweepstakes Coins to participate in the sweepstakes promotions offered by Modo Casino. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Sponsor's Terms of Service and Sweepstakes Rules."
• Place the postcard inside a standard #10 envelope. Handwrite the destination address provided in your account dashboard and affix a first-class postage stamp.
• Limit: One (1) request per envelope. Multiple requests in a single envelope will be voided. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, or misdirected mail.

D. Social Media Contests

The Sponsor regularly hosts contests and giveaways on official social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Following the instructions on these promotional posts will grant you a chance to win free Sweepstakes Coins.

5. Playing Games with Sweepstakes Coins

Players can use their Sweepstakes Coins to participate in various casino-style games on the platform. The amount of SC required to play varies by game and will be clearly displayed. Winning a game played with SC will result in the prize of additional SC, which will be added to the player's account balance.

Playthrough Requirement: All Sweepstakes Coins acquired through any AMOE method must be played through at least one time (1x) on the platform's games before they become eligible for redemption. Sweepstakes Coins won through gameplay are immediately eligible for redemption.

6. Prize Redemption Rules

Players who have accumulated sufficient eligible Sweepstakes Coins may request to redeem them for prizes.

• Conversion Rate: For the purpose of prize redemption, one (1) eligible Sweepstakes Coin is equivalent to $1.00 USD.
• Minimum Thresholds:
  • Cash Prizes: A minimum balance of 100.00 eligible SC is required to request a cash prize redemption.
  • Gift Cards: A minimum balance of 50.00 eligible SC is required to request a gift card redemption.
• Maximum Limits: The Sponsor reserves the right to limit the maximum redemption amount to $10,000 USD per day. Furthermore, due to local state sweepstakes laws, the maximum redemption value for a single sweepstakes play for residents of New York and Florida is capped at $5,000 USD. Any prize exceeding $5,000 for residents of these states will be reduced to $5,000.
• Identity Verification (KYC): Prior to processing any redemption, the player must successfully pass a strict identity verification process. This requires the submission of a valid government-issued photo ID, proof of residential address (e.g., a utility bill dated within the last 90 days), and potentially a bank statement.
• Payment Methods: Cash redemptions will only be processed to a bank account or financial institution legally registered in the exact same name as the Modo Casino account holder. Gift cards will be sent electronically to the registered email address.

7. Expiration of Sweepstakes Coins

Sweepstakes Coins are only valid for sixty (60) days from the date you last logged into your account. If your account is inactive for a continuous period of 60 days, any Sweepstakes Coins in your balance will automatically expire and be forfeited.

8. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning a game played with Sweepstakes Coins depend entirely on the specific mechanics of the game being played. Return to Player (RTP) percentages and game rules are available within the information section of each individual game.

9. General Conditions and Taxes

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes.

Taxes: All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Sponsor may require winners to complete a W-9 tax form for prizes exceeding a certain monetary threshold and will issue a 1099-MISC form as required by law.

10. Dispute Resolution

As detailed further in our Terms of Service, any disputes arising out of or related to these Sweepstakes Rules or the awarding of prizes shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration, and you explicitly waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit.
